This notice supplements the Privacy Policy and describes choices available to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, where applicable.
Information and uses
When you browse, purchase or contact Fine Jewelry, we may collect identifiers and contact details, order and payment information, communications and device or browsing information. We receive this information from you, automatically through cookies and similar technologies, and from providers. We use it to run the store, process purchases, deliver orders, handle returns, respond to inquiries, improve services, prevent fraud and comply with law. We may disclose information to Shopify, payment providers, UPS and other service providers, or as required by law. We retain it as reasonably needed for these purposes and legal obligations.
Shopify and sharing
We do not currently send marketing email or SMS or use advertising or analytics tools outside Shopify. Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled; Shopify may use customer data with other Shopify data to improve products, ad targeting and personalization. Some advertising-related use or sharing may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under California law. See Shopify’s consumer privacy policy for its practices.
Your rights and choices
Subject to applicable law and exceptions, California residents may request access, a portable copy, correction or deletion, and may opt out of sale or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may also have a right to limit certain uses and disclosures of sensitive personal information. We do not discriminate against you for exercising applicable rights.
To opt out, use Your Privacy Choices or contact us. Where applicable, a Global Privacy Control signal is treated as an opt-out for the browser and device sending it. For Shopify’s own processing, visit the Shopify Privacy Portal.
Submit a request
Email or call us with the type of request and enough information to locate your records. Do not send complete card details. We may verify your identity and an authorized agent’s authority. We respond within applicable legal timeframes and may retain information where required or permitted by law.
